Product Details

Handcrafted from richly textured papier mâché, the Curio Polka Bowl has a timeworn charm that feels both artful and storied. A clear lacquer is applied to the raw surface, creating a softly aged finish that gives this whimsical piece a sense of history.

Made from recycled newspaper, each bowl is entirely natural and eco-conscious. The process begins by blending newspaper with water, then mixing in chalk and tree sap crystals to create a clay-like material. This pulp is hand-kneaded and shaped into chapati-like discs before being molded into the sculptural form you see here. No power, no firing -just skilled craftsmanship and sustainable methods from start to finish.

Due to its porous nature, papier mâché is for decorative use only and should be kept away from moisture.

Returns

We are happy to return items in original condition with tags attached within 14 days of the purchase date. A refund will be issued to the original form of payment minus shipping fees. All reduced priced merchandise, textiles, furniture, jewelry and preorders are final sale and are not eligible for refund, exchange, or store credit. Shipping costs for returns are the customers responsibility.
